Dev Update III for 0.8

Hey everyone! I’ll be out of town for the next few days, so here’s an early dev update for you:

This past week I worked harder than usual to make up for the upcoming lost time. I successfully implemented the first five in-game days of 0.8 into the story—complete with color-coded text, variables, and visuals. Everything works correctly so far, though I may add even more visuals later to further enhance the immersion.

A major addition this week is the introduction of a new store at the mall: Sensual Selections. This is an adult-themed boutique featuring 25 new in-game items. While the MC won’t be able to buy most of them yet, you’ll be able to visit the store, purchase some items, and see them displayed in the updated Cabinet in her room.

The laptop system has also been updated! The MC can now use it to watch naughty videos and interact with the new items purchased from Sensual Selections.

These features took a lot of time to implement while keeping compatibility with older save files. So far, everything is working well, though I may need to revamp some of the background code in the future for smoother scaling.

On the writing side, first Saturday’s morning and evening events are already drafted and will be implemented once I return. After finishing the first full week of content, my next big goal is to develop the new tattoo system, which will likely take a good chunk of time to get right.
