This bum ahh dev finally posted something... Devlog 31/10/2026

Hey guys, it is me again, your Henry Cavill's lookalike dev! I hope everyone who read this are doing well and healthy! ❤️

First and foremost, I want to thank you all who has been here with me, supporting me through all ups and downs on this journey. Honestly, I can never reach this far without you guys!

Also, I'm fully 1000% aware that it has been too long since the last time I made a post, and I deeply apologize for that... T_T

It breaks my heart to see people already called Past Tense as a "dead game" or "abandoned". But I really can't blame them for thinking as such considering how long it takes for me to bring the updates and how my devlogs are lacking. The only thing I can blame is my own incompetence as an artist and a developer, well, a wannabe developer, at least.

I just want to let you guys know that Past Tense will not, and will NEVER be abandoned! Long as I'm alive at least. I always have a dream to tell people a story and for me Past Tense is my realization of that dream. And I'll be damned if I actually have to abandon it.

It's just that the circumstances had not been really great for me and my family. Well, you guys already know my situations, or at least some of you are, and I'm really grateful for that. If I can be honest, I'm actually ashamed to talk about it, especially here. It feels embarrassing, uncomfortable and extremely pathetic for me.

This is how I feel each time I have to to talk about my life :

The development of Past Tense are always running, it might getting longer, it never stops. I just need to divert my attention to the outside life a bit more cause, well, i still rely on on it. Thing are getting heavier the more time goes. I can't go full time on Past Tense just yet. 😅

Enough of me venting, that's a lot of yap already, sorry guys! (>,<)

Oh one more thing, I wanna make a quick shoutout to Batsy (Batman_Sid) for the tools he made. Library Manager and Focus Tool has been a huge help for me workflow. In times like this, it's definitely a life changer.
