Right, where to begin with this one. Obviously it’s not the finished product and it is very heavy with the story. But the long intro will pay off later as I’ve established pretty much all the characters in a natural way that really leaned into my more film/TV style I wanted to go with as I put a hell of a lot more attention into the story and dialogue here. 

My goal was to make something that is way grander and deeper than my usual offerings with multiple characters and different story branches running parallel to meet in the middle. For example, the part with Miranda and the Geth unit led into her meeting the Krogan which is nice foreshadowing for my plans later. Same with the Hanar. Trust me, it’ll all pay off once I hit part two (or three). 

But on to the quality itself. Man, it was just perfect. I was really striving for perfection with each and every image and I can confidently say that out of the 131 images I rendered, there’s around 5 that I’m not too happy with. But that means there’s 126 images that are pretty much perfect which is a massive win! 

One of my goals I wanted to work on is to move my sets around a location more as when I look back on older projects, they’re kind of static where the action takes place in one or two spots (this was mainly due to these spots having the best lighting). But I wanted to keep this one feeling fresh with different locations and, thus, different lighting. 

For example, Miranda’s section was reds and oranges, but the bar section with Liara and Miranda was a lot of blue, purple and white. So by keeping the story moving to different spots, it kept the images looking fresher and less stale as each section offered a different vibe with a change of the colour palette. 

The main reason why I stopped where I did as I was just getting tired of seeing the same stuff for the past 18 days. I need to see something different and refresh my eyes. So once I’m done with my RE4 set next, I’ll be coming back and either finishing off the set, or will be splitting it into three parts. Although I’m reluctant to do this, I’d rather take my time and release something perfect, than to rush it just for the sake of it. 

As I said before, yes, this is very front loaded with story, but I feel like in the end, it will all be worth it. So bare with me guys as I promise to bring you the best Mass Effect smut I’ve ever made.
