The Witcher: Underneath It All
If this parchment finds eyes unclouded by drink or fear, then hear my plea kind folk of Novigrad! Beneath the towers of Temple Isle, there stands a house under my care that no longer belongs to the living.
It began with voices. Soft at first, like folk whispering behind a closed door. Now they carry through every room, day and night alike. Some weep. Some curse. Others call a man's name though none live there to answer. They speak in tongues unknown to me, and at times in the voices of those long buried.
The air within has turned foul. Not the stink of spoiled meat nor the drains but something older, like damp earth, spoiled meat, and graves left open for too long.
Candles gutter though no wind blows. Doors stand open after being barred. The walls groan when no weight rests upon them, and shadows linger where no light should cast them.
No priest will return after the first blessing. The neighbors have nailed charms above their own doors and refuse to pass my gate after sundown.
I seek not idle gawkers nor men eager to boast of courage in the taverns. I seek one who knows the workings of curses, hauntings, spirits, or stranger things still. If there remains any remedy short of putting the whole place to the torch, I would hear it.
Generous payment awaits whoever can uncover the truth and put the dead—or whatever remains—to rest.Inquire at the house with the weathered green shutters beyond the eastern market road. Knock thrice before entering.
Come before nightfall.
Should you hear your own voice calling from within...
Do not answer.

Oh my god I’m finally done with it. I think this will be one of those sets that I’ll come back to in a few weeks or months and will enjoy it much more than right now. As I said in a previous post, doing an extra 60 to 80 images this month really took it out of me and I had to dig really, really deep to keep the quality up and finish the set.
I’m glad I did though as it is still one of my favourites I’ve made. The whole build up section is just perfection in my opinion. The mood and atmosphere could really be felt with the images leading up to Triss stripping which must be a highlight of my entire time making smut.
Looking back, I think I should've either scraped the tentacle portion or maybe made it much smaller as I feel like the Foglet didn’t get as much love as I had planned. Still though I was pleased with how the interwoven nature of the action here played out with cutting back and forth between reality and what Triss was imaging with the doggo.
Plus I’ve now established a Belethor cannon with my Witcher sets. The images I featured here from past projects are what I deem to be canonical events that have happened in my lore. That was a fun little segment that I enjoyed tying everything together.
With fear of coming off as overly negative I did enjoy the set. Lighting, story and pacing being a real highlight for me here - helps that Triss looked particularly great here. Overall I’d say the set would’ve been better if a tad shorter, but I had so much planned, scraping it would’ve felt like a cop out after such a long build up. In the end I’m happy with the end product as I was able to hold off that dreaded burn out right until the end.
Anyhoo, that’s all I’ve got to say for now. Fingers crossed the wait was worth it. Any and all feedback I’d love to hear as always. Oh, and thanks to everyone for sticking with me through my slightly chaotic July. Love you all!
Cheers,
Belethor
