My Better Car Liveries mod is coming back 🎨

It's been a long time coming, but I've started laying the groundwork to bring my Better Car Liveries mod back to the latest version of Forza Horizon 5.

If you've been following my mods before, you might know that cosmetic mods for Forza Horizon 5 were disabled with Series 31 "European Automotive" in February earlier this year, much to my dismay.

However, as of Series 35 "Modern Horizons", the modding community found a new way to once again enable cosmetic mods.

I plan to fully restore functionality of my Better Car Liveries mod, however this will likely take me nearly 200 hours to complete as I need to create new modded cars from scratch. The way in which mods were disabled in previous versions of the game means that I can't re-use the original files, however I've devised a new method for this which should mean this won't happen again.

You'll also notice new features this time around, such as cars which use advanced paint groups for the hood and mirror sections, and plastic trim which will keep the appearance of the original material until the colour is changed.
