That's very unfortunate, looking through that twitter account looks like they're a serial patreon/fanbox thief. I see paywalled works from Unfairr, Ruberule, Hyuk and Radishkek that I recognize. One of the quickest ways I think you can upgrade the protection of your works is putting a password on your mega archives and changing it monthly, an artist named Yusha M does this and at the very least it ensures those that those who want to regularly steal your art have to at least pay monthly to do so.

There’s no perfect solution to people stealing your art and posting it elsewhere. However, definitely consider the suggestions others have shared, such as using password-protected files and/or hidden watermarks. I’m not sure if you'd want to change your membership model from subscription billing to monthly payments in order to send the password for your files. Alternatively, you could send a Google Drive link at the end of the month to keep track of who has accessed the file.

In terms of file protection and access, would you guys be cool with having access to a Discord that just has the artwork on there? I feel like this would at least make it difficult for scalpers and bots to automatically pull my work from here. I would need to look into how access points and membership intergration would work for Emperor and Adele Penguins though. I'm mostly interested in what you guys think of this idea. Is it too much of a hassle? Is it not worth the effort? Additionally do you guys believe having an Archive like the current MEGA is worthwhile if work can be stolen from there as well?

Could start incorporating 2 watermarks one hidden in the setting like billboards, signs, or in nature like the Lion King did when they hid the sfx letters in the night sky and one on the characters body like a tattoo or brand/design on clothing

As some have mentioned a watermark and calling out the poster are some ways to do it. Keeping the files in a mega that’s password encoded would be an excellent second step. In the long run what’s important is keeping what you use for income safe so I think everyone would be ok jumping through the extra hoop, and if not well, not to be rude but too bad.

Watermark outside but near the body work nice. Or embedded into the clothes.

I don't think that would do much, they still are subscribed to the patreon so even if you password protect it, they will just use the password you send and still post the content on twitter or other websites This password will just be another step for patreon users to check your content and won't do much to stop people from spreading it The only real way to protect your content is just to report the posts you find of your content... But... I don't think it's worth it, all that hastle to report or to use passwords, after all, as i said, the one that is sharing your content is most likely subscribed to your patreon (paying for your content) And yeah another guy mentioned this but i will add it to my post, add some hidden watermarks all over your art, but that sadly won't do much since if they find it, they can just use ai to remove them, but that's a *if* they find the watermrks

I think mega.io does password base file protection you could try that, the related work was the evelyn one yes?
