Sunday Update ~ Last Releases & What’s Next

I can’t believe it’s been two years either! 🥹 It really does feel like it went by so quickly. Thank you for being here through so much of that journey, and for always taking the time to share your thoughts and support my work. I've told you already, but it genuinely means a lot to me. 🖤🖤 And yes, I definitely prefer keeping the old versions! I think it would be a shame to completely replace something I made before when I can just make a new version instead 🙌 That way there’s more variety! But I do sometimes go back to older animations when I feel like there are little things I could improve with the skills I have now, especially facial expressions. But when I do, it's usually just small adjustments rather than changing the animation itself. I don't do it very often tho, because I'd usually rather spend that time making something new 😅 And don't worry about the Halloween ideas 😂 I'm not particularly into supernatural stuff myself, so I'm not planning to go completely wild with it either. In previous years I've mostly done things like vampire bites, or more intimate/aftercare-type animations with a vampire or werewolf/ABO-ish context. They're still things that can work perfectly well outside of Halloween, though, so I mostly see it as a fun excuse to give them a little seasonal twist 🎃 As for the pumpkin animations or that kind... 😭😭 I think I'll leave that particular niche to the other creators 😂

Thank you for sharing the idea! I can definitely see the kind of dark, intimate betrayal you're going for, even if it's not really something I would feel comfortable creating 👉👈 I don't mind exploring darker themes, and knife play or BDSM can definitely be interesting to me, but I tend to keep those things on the softer side and, most importantly, respectful of both partners. I also really don't want to make degradation or any physical violence to be part of an intimate/romantic scene. I'm not confortable creating that... I think it goes pretty much against the dynamic I usually want to portray.. As you must know, I generally want the relationship between the characters to feel like there's a lot of love, trust and genuine care between them 🖤 That said, I do appreciate you thinking outside the box and suggesting something different! Even tho it's too much for me. For darker storytelling involving murder or violence, that's something I could potentially explore in a more narrative context rather than as part of the intimacy itself. But I'm sure there are many creators on LoversLab who explore the much darker/dead-dove side of things if that's more what you're looking for !

It's true there really aren't many mermaid-focused animations, probably partly because they're not the easiest to animate, but I'll definitely keep it in the back of my mind! As for werewolves, that's definitely a theme I enjoy exploring. I've already made a few things with that kind of scenting/biting dynamic, and I have some more ABO/werewolf-inspired ideas planned for outside of the Halloween content as well. So that's definitely a direction I want to keep exploring, including softer things like aftercare and the more affectionate side of those dynamics.
