[Devlog] Devlog EP7 (no.1)
Hey everyone! Been a month since the Patreon EP6 release by now.
Lots happened in the meantime!
I took the last week of December after the release off - for family time. I was also fixing bugs, upscaling animations, had the Steam release on the 15th (as you know)
I also had to fix a bunch of bugs on Steam as well, because hell, there's never enough bugs.
After that I've been working on machine translations (ai-translated) , and working on content at the same time. Making the translations isn't simply copy paste text and copy paste translated text back, because the files are quite large which go over the context limit often.
I had to make a script that makes chunks from the files and translates them one by one. You guys will tell me how good or bad the translations are :)
Trying to get Traditional Chinese to work at the moment, will then add Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Italian, French, etc. As time permits.
The part one to Episode 7 will be coming in the end of February, then after that, I'm hoping I'll get back into my groove and be able to release an update every month or two.

Your succeeding where so many fail. The ability to nail the into and establish the characters without doing to much. Establishing a deep connection between the main MCs. Introducing the spicy stuff in a logical and slow burn manner. It cant be overstated how well you've done with the story and the art style...its doesn't get better. Amazing job. does the steam version have all the episodes available at purchase?
Yes :) Game is not complete yet though. I push out updates couple times a year. They will come to steam a few days delayed to the top tier here. So in either case if you buy on steam now, you'll eventually get all the main games content.

You can use the projz_renpy_translation tool. That's what I use to translate games into Simplified Chinese. I use DeepSeek's API to translate the entire game concurrently, which typically costs around $0.50 and takes about 10 minutes.
Sounds cool but, does it create seperate translation files for the translations, or does it just translate the existing stuff, removing the english in the process? Can you then change from english to chinese and back easily?
I think you should consider having someone else work on script translations and coding that into the game, that way you can work on what you do best :) Ofc if you really enjoy copying and pasting letters you don't understand, go for it :D
I did consider it. Honestly I have issues trusting others to do it properly so I'm doing it myself. I have been coming to the realization that the game/demand is slowly starting to outgrow just myself and I've been thinking of finding another person to help. It would let me do more of the important stuff, like sexy pics lol
You could use google gemini for translation. It has the largest context window among all modern AI
I actually tried pasting the large files for it to translate, it unfortunately force-logged me out every time.
