[Devlog] EP6 progress #3
Good morning!
The downscale efforts are complete! Game is fully ported to a base 1080p resolution.
In the end, dowscaling the images was simple with imagemagick (Thanks EMC, for the recommendation).
The real behemoth was having to manually re-calibrate all the hard-coded positional offsets (yoffset/xoffset) that I did for the images and ui elements in the game, and all the image defines... finally done!
You'll now be able to enjoy Moonripple Lake on your slower devices without lag :) I hope.
Just don't load it on your Nokia 3310, okay?
In other news, my paypal funds are still frozen. They confirmed that they have done so, and I had to redo the KYC - which is complete. They responded that they need to look further into the dealings of my account to see if there has been a breach of their terms of service... I think they suspect money laundering/illegality or whatever. I've done some research and they usually do this and hold funds from anywhere from 3 to 26weeks (yikes) before they're liable to either legally clarify or release the funds.
In light of this I have decided to go ahead and not put my hopes up while they kick the can down the road, and instead:
I'm committing to the Steam/Itch release in December.
(I still hope to be able to regain Paypal in the meantime)
If not, I'll restructure my business setup after the Episode 6 release, so that I can return to a Patreon-first model.
So, due to my payout being useless (for the forseeable future),
this happens:
EP6 will have more content (mainly more sex)
EP6 releases on Steam + Itch in mid December.
(If nothing changes I'll release it on Patreon a bit later for free as thanks)Patreon billing will be paused indefinitely until the payout issue is resolved
I will still be posting devlogs and renders here as regularly as I can, so that part doesn't change. In fact, new render coming shortly :)
In the meantime, please wishlist the game on Steam, if you haven't already. Thanks!
Love, BCG <3

Will we see a scene with cop?)
In episode 6, officer Dick does appear. But he doesn't get a sex scene with Suzie if that's what you mean :)
With billing paused - is it pointless to start an annual subscription, or will you still have access to those funds? I’m not clear on all the intricacies of Patreon payouts
Thank you for the intent, but yeah at the moment no point in doing so to be honest. I think I'll be able to get to the funds eventually, because they cant keep them hostage indefinitely under paypal's pretense that I'm laundering or whatever. This should resolve in a couple of months at worst, as per the law. I'm hoping it goes through sooner though. I wont stop creating in thr meanwhile so youre welcome to stick around :)
Honestly... I would gladly move over to Subscribestar if it means supporting your content and getting in early :)
Thanks! You're the minority though so that's why I dont commit to Subscribestar. I think I'll be able to regain paypal eventually...
之前paypal说冻结成人内容游戏收入 也许现在也只是找一个借口接着做
Yes perhaps. I still hope to get it back. I'll find a way eventually. If not before, then after Episode 6 is out.
Have you thought about Subscribestar? or is it just as bad? I feel like they give more freedom than most places.
ofcourse, but like 1/10th of the people are there :s
"mid December"?! 😭
I know... there will be more content at least.
Fuck Patreon, fuck Mastercard, fuck Paypal and fuck censorship!
So we gotta wait until mid December now? And only get it on steam or itch!? Broo....
I know :x
gonna be honest with u.... would love to Wishlist your game but im in UK and theres no way im giving them or anyone else my info... i will continue to support u here!
Thanks Cardus, but even just wishlisting and not buying helps the game get more traction! Any support you give is appreciated ❤️
Our girl need filling hehe
She needs a good cream filling. BCG knows who I want to do the filling.
The problem I have is the new Online Safety Act here in the UK stops me from viewing AVN's on Steam, without a credit card which I don't have, I only have a debit card.
It seems the list of countries where Steam can't serve NSFW is steadily growing... Itch works for you perhaps? I understand if you can't support, so no worries :) I won't forget the people who supported me here, my goal is still to return to Patreon-first releases asap! If after the release you don't get it by a leak, I'll post it here for free not long after.
Hope to see some officer action! Can’t wait.
Can't wait big dawg. Hopefully more three ways.
Anon + Suzie + Cee 100% :)
good news
