I think it was implied that demons don't have healing magic, but that was just my take of the way they said it
It was stated early on that Healing Magic is unique to humans. Somewhere around ep 4-5, I think, but don't quote me on that.
I can now finally say that yes the reason for the Dark Knights voice being so heavily distorted, to the point of annoying. Is because they wanted to make the Dark Knight come off as menacing, so the reveal of the character being a cute girl was more surprising.
