But since taking over D failed, and there was an opportunity to meet someone else from the list, she took the chance to jump ship and hopefully take over the next erson fully. It's probably not even about all of Talia's chrome, but she's the next best person from the list, who knows when she'd have the chance to slot her chip into a different person from the list.

Another fun fact, 90% of all meat in the cyberpunk world is artifical, as most animals have gone extinct. So when they say fresh enough to wiggle in your mouth... they probably mean it.
