Last episode Shinji didn't recognize Kirio remember? She was 12th squad captain above Hiyori 110+ years ago. This episode explains why he didn't recognize her that's all
Who's Shunsui? ❤️
Next one is peak.
Now go back and watch the Unohana conversation scenes, this reveal was there the entire time
The next few episodes will test your literacy for the magnum opus that is Bleach. The lore and situations in them episodes flies over people's heads very easily. This is where fans and people who simply watch Bleach go different paths. Excited to see and hear what you two think and have to say once we finish the last episode of this cour.
Aaannnddd hheeerreeee we gooooooo!! Been holding onto this for a while now and now that it's hear OHHH BOY!!! Starting the reaction now gonna be amazing
Criminal guys, just criminal. I'm diying here, i need like 5 of this daily😅
Once the mask is off its off
The switch up for Unohana in TYBW is insane. I've definitely seen some real women with nipple placement that wouldn't be revealed by that robe placement Karlii was so focused on. Still not common though. I'm no better than a man, but that's probably because I am one.
Yes, Shinji is the one who spoke to Kirio before; she was Hiyori's old captain from Squad 12. We know from OG Bleach that Kenpachi found a girl out in the wilderness somewhere; neither himself nor the girl had a name, so he named them both after people he admired, "Yachiru" for the girl and "Kenpachi" for himself (eventually "officially" earning the title upon defeating the previous 11th captain). Now we know that Unohana was both the Yachiru and Kenpachi for which they are named.
MID EPISODE CARD TRANSLATIONS: The castle ruled by Kirinji Tenjiro, the Zero Division's "Hot Spring Demon," is the Kirinden. Within the city lies a gigantic bathhouse, and the hot spring treatments performed there are considered the Kirinji "ritual." By sequentially immersing oneself in the White Bone Hell, where damaged spiritual pressure is drained along with blood, and the Blood Pond Hell, where new blood and spiritual pressure are replenished, the blood and spiritual pressure within the body are completely replaced, allowing the body to heal at an abnormal speed. Those whose original spiritual pressure is not strong must wear a protective bathing garment woven from super-spiritual particles to prevent their bodies from rotting and bursting due to "over-recovery." Furthermore, in the White Bone Hell, a special towel must be kept on the head at all times, otherwise the core of the spiritual pressure will be drained, resulting in death. In a secret playground created deep underground at the Twin Peaks Hill by Urahara Kisuke and Shihoin Yoruichi, there is a hot spring modeled after the Kirin Palace's hot springs that accelerates wound healing. The Gatonden is a palace of food, which could be called the castle of Kiryu Hikifune, the "Grain King" of the Zero Division. Three giant towers are connected inside, and the central dining area, the kitchen with a staircase-style oven from which flames erupt, and the refrigeration room equipped with a huge wooden icehouse are separated by curtains. In Hikifune's "Ritual," which created the concept of "Gikon" (artificial soul), a person's power level is raised by taking in spiritual pressure completely different from their own through eating, and by harboring spiritual pressure of another dimension within their body. Incidentally, her cooking is perfect in terms of taste, texture, and aroma, but very occasionally there is an ingredient that looks so bad that it makes you stop eating. Furthermore, Hikifune herself uses up all of her spiritual pressure by the time she finishes making dessert, so her body shape changes drastically.
Now remember back during Soul Society arc when Aizen first reveal his evil after taking down Hitsugaya and on his way out he meets Unohana and yet he didnt do anything to her.
The other "clue" there was that she was the ONLY one who found out that something is wrong with his "corpse", even tho' she was under his shikai's influence. It mostly because of how familiar she is with "death" in general, beyond her healing capabilities.
This and the next are my favorite episodes, no additional comments, so many spoilers from here :(
I was going to skip this episode until the next one comes up but it was too good that I watched it... Can't wait for the next episode XD
unohana for tattoo
Taylor is correct. She does, in fact, heal Zaraki. She fatally wounds him to the point of near death over and over, and heals him over and over. It's also funny to look back at all the scenes where everyone showed fear of Unohana. Always felt like a running joke. Now we know there is more to it.
People argue about this but, there are a loooooot of small hints and nudges to Unohana's true nature throughout the first part of the show. People being unusually afraid of her, passed off as comedic, etc. Google it! would love to hear your thoughts
Why would people argue about it? It's literally just a fact that there are several scenes showing people being scared of her lol
Need next episode so bad, i honestly think the unohana fight is still my 2nd fave bleach moment ever.
not watching this episode and the next together is a diabolical sin I cant wait another week!
remember Kenpachi saidbefore in the soul society arc he named his lieutenant Yachiru after someone he admired. Unohana is that person. Also now you know why everyone seemed to beterrified of her even though she acted all gentle yet she is a demon
that Arrancar back in Hueco Mundo too. Looked at her and said retreat.
