The thing with Crunchyroll subtitles getting out of sync is a known issue if you use 3rd party apps like prime or through a game console because of server issues, it also happens a lot even through Crunchyroll for series that used to be on Funimation because of how CR manages the subtitle codex. Aside from flipping them on and off or clear the data cache there isn't really a work around an CR doesn't seem to care since it was an issue even before the Funimation merger

Also from what I read after, I think I was wrong and the other Rescue Members can use some Healing Magic? It's not really explained well/not much Info, but maybe they can't use it nearly as well/as much as Usato can and therefore can't keep up with Rose like he can? The Anime doesn't show them using it at all nor says they can, I thought I remembered someone saying they couldn't in the Anime before, but I honestly don't know. I'd just assume they have it, but can't use it as much or as strongly as Usato can.

I don't think the anime has caught up to the manga, REGARDLESS, both manga and anime has a light novel to rely on for more story and that one is faaaar ahead and even finished since 2020. There's even a sequel that started in 2023 that's ongoing. So atleast in terms of storyline, there's no reason for the anime to take its time.

Not sure if it would have a impact or not but one reason season 2 might be delayed is because unfortunately the Japanese VA for Rose passed away so maybe recasting stuff is happening

I suspect part of the reason the dub didn't have that underlying layer for clarity is because they wanted to give as little info about the character as possible until the time is right. The Prez is Suzune, the girl who was summoned. Kazuki was the vice-president.

The distortion on top of the BRITISH I think is what's making it sound worse. The British accent is very heavy, I couldn't even tell what they were saying for the most part because the heavy accent mixed with the distortion is just really muddying up the dialogue.
