San Myshuno (Midnight & Sunset)

New versions of the San Myshuno map are now available for download: Midnight and Sunset.

The Midnight version brings a nighttime look to San Myshuno. By default, lots are lit with daytime lighting. Without adjustments, the lots would look too bright compared to the nighttime art. So, I decided to add stronger lighting to the districts to better blend the map’s overall lighting with the lots.

(Not sure if it’ll work, but the plan is for the windows to light up when you hover over each playable building.)

As the name suggests, the Sunset version features a slight change in the color palette and adds warm yellow and orange tones inspired by the sunset.

I’m also working on a new version of the map with a more vibrant color palette. I was planning to release it with these two, but I wasn’t happy with the result, so I’m reworking it.
