Demo!

Have you guys played the updated demo yet?

I released it about a month back but just realized I completely forgot to post anywhere about it!! I was so caught up in work.

It even features a small performance-test-only import of a gamecube level just for the fun of it! (And this level hits 30fps even on an unmodded N64...!)

Here's a link!

Just played through the demo! Working fabulously on Original Nintendo 64 using my SummerCart 64. Even with all the graphical improvement enabled, the framerate was solid! Especially so on the normal levels. The Bonus level of course was running a little less stable, but it was impressive none the less! When activating the button to jump up on top of the giant shine thats where I notice the largest FPS spike which did make it pretty difficult to get up.

Seems the romhacking site is down. Any other sources for the demo?

Don't forget to update the RTYI milestone tracker.

Any chance you could make a video comparing Libdragon and Ultralib as well as different microcodes? Tiny3D looks very impressive, I'm curious how it compares with F3DEX3 and some of the other custom micro codes developers made back in the day.

It's difficult to do that due to how different their paradigms are in how they render stuff, though i suppose you could set up 2 completely differently functioning empty project with just a scene for that and it'd be a good bit of work. a bit too much work for me to want to do so though... i think they are fairly equal atm
