Introducing: Vexxx Adult Media Manager - Releasing Soon
Hey everyone,
After a long time of debating, experimenting, and pushing Stash to its limits through plugins and side projects… I finally took the plunge.
I’ve officially started work on a fork of Stash: Vexxx Adult Media Manager.
This has been a long time coming — and I’m excited to finally share what’s already taking shape.
This fork is focused on workflow speed, visibility, and power-user features, while still staying true to what makes Stash great.
Here’s what’s already live 👇
🧱 UI Overhaul (WIP)
The UI is undergoing a major redesign, inspired heavily by my Stash Hub project.
The goal is a cleaner layout, better flow, and fewer clicks for common actions — all without losing depth or flexibility.
This is still a work in progress, but the foundation is there.
🔍 Global Search
A true global search experience that lets you quickly find what you need across your library without hopping between pages or filters.
🏷️ Scene Tagger Workflow Improvements
This is one of the biggest quality-of-life upgrades so far.
Global search input — type your query once and apply it across all tagger fields
Bulk Operations:
Search All
Create All Performers
Create All Tags
Create All Studios
Run All natively
Less repetitive typing. More momentum.
✅ Scene Tagger Review
After a batch save, a review panel automatically appears showing:
What metadata was added to each scene
Whether items were newly created (tags, performers, studios)
A clear summary of what just happened
Perfect for sanity-checking large tagging sessions.
⚙️ Concurrent Tasks (Up to 4 at Once)
You can now run up to four tasks concurrently — including:
Generate
Scan
Plugin tasks
Other background operations
This makes a huge difference on modern systems without overwhelming them.
🎭 Performer & Studio Scene Tracking
For the completionists out there — this one’s big.
New “Missing Scenes” tab on Performer and Studio pages
Uses your StashDB API key to:
Detect missing scenes
Bulk scrape and track them
Automatically switches scenes from Tracked → Owned when you add a scene with a matching stash_id
Your collection finally knows what it’s missing — and when you’ve completed it.
⏰ Scheduled Tasks
A new Scheduled Tasks section in settings makes it easy to automate:
Scans
Generates
Plugin tasks
Other recurring jobs
No external cron wrangling required.
📊 Resource Monitor
Added directly to the Task Queue, this shows real-time system resource usage from active goroutines, giving better insight into performance and load while tasks are running.
What’s Next?
This is still early, but the direction is clear:
Faster workflows
Better visibility
Power-user features built into the core experience
As always, Patreon supporters are helping make this possible — and you’ll be the first to see what’s coming next.
More updates soon.
And seriously… thanks for sticking with me on this journey. 💙
