Ubisoft Says 'Get Comfortable' With Not Owning Your Games (The Jimquisition)

Ubisoft, one of the most garbage trash things ever, thinks we should "get comfortable" with not owning games as it tries to push subscriptions onto us. Trouble is, we've seen where not owning our other media has gotten us - a horrible and confusing digital dystopia.

I saw this as news on Tumblr. I'm going to say here EXACTLY what I wrote as a comment: "If I don't own it, I don't have to pay for it. Then again, why the fuck would I WANT an Ubisoft game?"

"piracy isn't stealing if ownership isn't owning" gets more and more true every day

"You own nothing and will be happy", how about "you OWE nothing and will be happy". Maybe players will get comfortable not owing Ubisoft any money not just to rent games, but its microtransactions in them as well.

Capitalists: "If you want something you have to pay for it!" Us: "OK, we paid. Can we have it, please?" Capitalists: "No!"

Ubisoft should "get comfortable with" people pirating their shit en mass again, then.

I see nothing unusual with that statement; is Ubisoft, you know, 'you should get comfortable with sexual harassment' Ubisoft so, on brand?

Ubisoft should get comfortable with me pirating their games then.
