Maybe The Wizard Game Just Wasn't Very Good (The Jimquisition)
Hogwarts: Legacy received no nominations at The Game Advertisements and the terminally foolish are crying foul. It's not a conspiracy, though. It's not an award show going "woke" and it ain't about the transphobia of Rowling. It's just that The Wizard Game isn't very good.

Loved all those title varieties and associated box artwork :-D
You said Twin Peaks but didn't mention the season. Please please please get through season 2. Lynch wasn't there for a lot of it but the ending was the best thing I had ever seen on any screen. MEANWHILE The Return came 25 years later and blew away everything that had ever been shown on TV
I honestly thought the mention of Twin Peaks was subtle reference to their norks…
"Without Me" parody is banging!!!! Love a single of it!
The "Without me" parody at the end. Marvelous!
Just watched the video and I agree with everything you said which doesn't surprise me lol I can't understand people thinking that this game deserved a GOTY award lol 😂 I enjoyed the game and liked the being a student at Hogwarts but, it's not award winning stuff by any metric except maybe nostalgia? 🤔🤷🏻♂️ I was drawn in by my curiosity about what this team of developers had put together and nostalgia. I wish I could be innocent to the hateful person J K Rowling but, she is a terrible person and I hope she rots! The only real argument is: can we separate the art from the artist? 🤔🤷🏻♂️
I think "separating the art from the artist" is a subjective state of mind, not an obligation. For any given artist, some people can, some can't, and that's all okay, so long as folks aren't doing s*** like shaming people for not moving past personal trauma and liking the wizard game, or whatever.
Holy shit I LOVE THE NEW INTRO! I can tell it took a ton of work to put together, and it was definitely worth it. Oh and fuck TERFs and punch Nazis
I literally pumped my fist with excitement when it started! Loved it.
It's literally a mid RPG with an ok story that probably wouldn't have done as well without the shit stirrers whipping up the LGBTQIA+ and fascist communities into a frenzy driving the fascists to retaliate by buying multiple copies. The trans character is the best character in the entire game and she's a respected business owner. Thanks to the outrage J K Rowling got offered the chance to directly work on a Harry Potter TV show! I stand with the LGBTQIA+ and I fucking hate fascists! I played it, it was mid,.it probably wouldn't have reviewed well and it would have been forgotten 🤔🤷🏻♂️
I've never seen a game pass out of the public consciousness faster that wasn't called "Horizon."
The Horizon games definitely have a bigger footprint than Hogwarts: Legacy, too. Aloy! Machine beasts!
