The Jimquisition: A Tale Of Casinos And SEO Juice

How exactly do less scrupulous blogs get deals with casino websites to lace their articles with unsubtle advertisements?

Who is pulling the strings, what sort of money changes hands, and what exactly are Casinos looking for when they ask for "SEO Juice?"

The Jimquisition went deep to blow this mother.

Sterling (!) work as usual Sir! This kind of rubbish deserves to be called out BUT I was a bit uncomfortable on the focus on the individuals rather than the shitbag companies they work for;. Suspect that Tammara and Barney are just kids in pretty rubbish sales jobs :/

People gamble on the internet? Why? Last time I did anything resembling a slot machine was in Osaka playing Evangelion Pachinko. One thing I'll tell you, never again.

Videos like this why I support you. Child's Play is the one I traditionally support since there goal is to help kids with cancer get games so it isn't that horrible in there last days.

As well as being an interesting topic this was a very, very funny episode. I was doing big, uncontrolled laughs all the way through whilst cooking.

Great episode, as always. In reference to charities to donate to, this is a link to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of Darkness Walks Overnight San Diego Walk. The link is to the "Tre of Life" team, who wish to walk for a friend of mine who took her life 2 years ago. She always wanted to move to California, so I think it is a fitting tribute to her by her mother and sister. They are short of their goal, so it would be very helpful for you to donate. I only post this here because you ask, so sorry about the long personal post. Thank you very much and keep up the good work...I am proud to support you on Patreon. https://www.theovernight.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=21233

That's some grade 'A' passive-agressive nonsense from Barney at 6:10.

That's pretty shitty. Not surprising, but shitty. All for a hundred dollars. Woo! I think I'll save my dignity.

As advertising revenue dries up and there are more controversies about Google/YouTube ads appearing next to fake news, etc, we're going to see more and more news sites require these forms of revenue to just stay alive. At the same time, ad blockers will strip away the legit ads and require sites to embed sponsored content into their articles in more insidious ways. What I'm saying is, you haven't seen anything yet. :-)

What kind of model can big news sites use after the current one stops generating enough revenue?
