However appaling this performative outrage is, I very much doubt there is any significant boycotting at all. If anything, such headlines are free publicity, and probably seen as positive advertising by a not insignificant percentage of potential customers. The absence of visible review bombing on Baldur's Gate also indicates, that we are dealing with a small minority.

I've had enough therapy over the last decade+ to really understand why these people project their own issues onto other people so fiercely. I used to be a little sympathetic but I've worked so hard to make myself feel like less of a shitty person. Now I have a lot of contempt from these absolute losers who refuse to ever reflect on themselves instead of taking it out on other people. What a bunch of miserable tossbags.

As a cishet white male, I find the lack of representation in media absolutely APPALLING!!! When will my people be able to see themselves portrayed in an accurate, respectful manner?! (May contain sarcasm) And for any fuck-knuckle, who actually, legitimately believe that any trans, queer or POC wanting the above are out of line or "woke" (a word that makes my eyes roll hard enough to give me friction burns), all I can say is this: Have a cry and a biscuit. It might be soggy, but you get what you deserve. BTW Steph, I just played Vampire Survivors on my Switch for the first time yesterday, and I have to say good bloody work on that bestiary. It is hillarious :D
…*Is* Bridget trans? I’d always thought… let’s go with “they” were cis and/or straight and just happened to like dressing up in women’s clothing, and that was also okay. Eh, it’s been the better part of a decade and I’m sure the video will explain it. EDIT: A quick trip to TVTropes shows that she is indeed a trans woman as of the latest iteration of the character. There you go and mea culpa for not checking first.
