Nintendo eSlop: The Switch's Shovelware Problem (The Jimquisition)
Nintendo has a real problem with asset flips and shovelware on the Switch's eShop. From the scourge of AAA Clock to the horrifically bad output of Pix Arts, there's a lot of slime to cut through if you want to browse, and Nintendo's doing less than nothing about it. So much for the seal of approval!

The eshop still doesn't load properly ffs
And the Switch is meant for the "whole family" (aka, children). Maybe some kids can recognize shovelware but not all. I'd go so far as to say this level of garbage being sold to kids is probably Roblox-like.
how much do I need to spend to see Steph's tits? (Just curious)
God I was hoping you'd mention this, it's getting as bad as the Wii's eShop in there and it's exhausting to wade through. All the good, worthwhile titles are getting drowned out by the deluge of games that probably came from an app store and have less content than the average newgrounds flash animation from 2004. It's rough.
Yeah, I feel so completely heard. The eShop is a survival-horror game.
Thank you!! Everything cheap and crappy that I see on eShop more often than not has Pix Arts attached to it.
