Redfall: A Draining Experience (Review)
Redfall proves that the "reviewers need to finish the game" argument is a terrible way of defending their darlings from negative critics. Familiarity breeds contempt, and the more I played Redfall, the more I resented it. I'd completely missed all the hype for this game and reading this that was the right call. Great piece btw, always love the written reviews.
“Minimum Viable Product” has to be up there with “recurrent user spending” in the league for sanitised, corporate-language that seeks to cover up the horrors it describes.
