Review: Disney Dreamlight Valley - Friendship Is Vapid

Link to review here: https://www.thejimquisition.com/post/disney-dreamlight-valley-friendship-is-vapid

Kept you waiting, huh?

Yep, written reviews are back! My first written videogame review in years is for Disney Dreamlight Valley, because I have a lot to say about that bloody thing. I really hope you enjoy it, and hey, sorry for the wait!

Oh, and sorry that this is a text post and not a proper link. Patreon is a piece of crap website and doesn't want to embed links from the Jimquisition site. Good job, Patreon!

Hooray! This was a delight to read. I thoroughly enjoy the way you phrase things, the way you make points. Your writing is a joy to read, even if the subjects you cover aren't particularly joyful.

This was great! You put words to my feelings about this game - it's much more farmville than animal crossing, you can feel it without the microtransactions in there, which I didn't expect.

I love it. Incisive seems like a good description of that description. I quite enjoyed it.

Hello Jim! Great review, exactly the impression I got from seeing some people play it. Quick note, I think you had a typo where you said "As you level up, you expand your inventory meter. As you spend coins, you expand your inventory." I think you meant leveling up expands your energy meter, based off the context of what you were talking about. If I'm wrong, my apologies! 🙂.

You're welcome! Once I started writing, I realized how much I missed it.
