Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play monstrosity, and it's hardly surprising. The years between the original Overwatch and its sequel saw Blizzard go from gaming darling to one of its most loathed villans. If only someone saw that coming.

The new version of "Blizzard is NOT Activision" has been going on for a while now, it's "Microsoft will fix things at Blizzard"... don't these GaMeRsTm know that Mike Ybarra is already the new boss and he is doing exactly what the MS overlords want, including how OW2 works. Meanwhile Kotick and friends collect their % and hope to keep a seat at the company in order to avoid legal consequences for their abuses
