If you feed your followers enough poop meals, you will unlock the poop appearance.
My roommate has been playing the shit out of this game (so to speak), and I've been watching her. It's super cute and seems fun as hell. Definitely going to pick it up for myself, though for my taste Ido wish it was a LITTLE less scatological, hah.
