A game so simple and codified, it should be impossible to screw up, this industry has nonetheless given it a damn good go.

Happy existenceday... or something
Today in Watching Jim Blather On: listen while nodding along, mostly not watching because I get frustrated and want to seize control of the blocks. Come back when I hear the pause, raise my eyebrow at "Worse", and then literally start yelling OH MY GOD aloud when I see what came next. This makes Puerto Rico's "colonist" look sweet and innocent.
When I saw the title, I thought this video would be sarcastic. Then I thought it would be about one of the garbage independent developers that Sterling often encounters. Good Lord, I honestly can't believe a major company failed to port Tetris. It's a 30 year old game. It's been on practically every commercial entertainment device, from computers to handhelds to consoles. Different years. Different brands. Different processing power and physical interfaces. Some specialized versions were more fun that others, but I never encountered a version that got the standard game incorrect. Porting a 30 year old game for a modern company should be like a person with a doctorate in literature re-scribing Cat in the Hat. This is inexcusable and insulting on so many levels. >:-(
Wow... Points for effort I guess :/ Also: F!K
Exactly. And fuck Konami.
