Streets of Rage 4 behaves as if the Nineties never ended, and I'm okay with that.
A beautiful (shut up, it's gorgeous) art style compliments an unapologetic retro beat 'em up that feels like a direct mechanical continuation of the original series. It's a vintage brawler and I love vintage brawlers so I'm happy.

Anyone else surprised by the Jason Mewes looking enemies? I was half expecting a boss that looked like Silent Bob.

Something based in the 90's that hasn't been stuffed with needless junk, still has that lovely cartoony liveliness and color, AND doesn't have some knee-jerk continuity wrecking 'subversion!!!!!!' crap crammed in? Signed up and downloading!
My brother and I used to play SoR2 a lot while growing up. I think the only brawler we played more at that time was Batman & Robin (based on the animated series, not the Schwarzenegger movie). I should see if he wants to play this one for old time's sake.
