Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - Bloody Terrifying, Terrifyingly Bloody (Jimpressions)
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is as excellent as it is scary, and it is very scary. Take it from someone who doesn't scare easily - Capcom pushed the boat out on making this one pure paranoia fuel.
While the zombies can sometimes be annoying, the overall experience is just as good as Resident Evil 2, which was already amazing, and adds more tension. Also, the new Jill Valentine is just too darn likable.

I'm playing RE2 during my breaks with headphones on while my partner and I work from home. She's getting sick of me randomly screaming because a zombie just fell out of a closet. I played the Steam demo of RE3 and it seemed like a bit of a shitshow, not at all like RE2. But I'm looking at this and thinking that more of the same is great, and they just fucked up the demo.
Won't lie, I do like the look of the new Nemesis. I got too good at kicking the old one's butt with a knife in the old RE3... good to see him get a threat upgrade!
He looks fantastic, and his later stages are almost Dark Souls-like. The only thing I don't care for is the voice.
Man, I love ya Jim, and I agree with you on a lot of things, but I really wish you would put out more positive content. Do you really have to be so negative ALL the time? JK. Please don't hurt me. :P
Capcom has been on a roll for a while now. Time for a proper BoF game to appease jrpg weebs like me.
