No lie, at the end of the day I feel there's fundamentally something missing from a lot of games these days that they try to cover up with flash and graphics. Fun and coherent story are often on the list of missing things, I feel.

I think there's something simpler at play. We wanna see our old beloved games that don't hold up graphically upgraded to be rad looking.
One remaster that went above and beyond is Halo Master Chief Collection
RE6 is my favorite entry in the series. I'm fine with remakes though there are other upcoming games i'm excited for(Last of Us 2 and Halo Infinite being a few examples).
