The Outer Worlds - Take Me Home, Outer Worlds! (Jimpressions)
Take me home, Outer Worlds! Obsidian's long-awaited The Outer Worlds is, quite frankly, everything I needed it to be. Rich, dense, brilliantly written, it's everything we've been missing in the wake of "live services" and other "AAA" trash.
With its onslaught of satire and wonderful sense of progression, The Outer Worlds is the spiritual successor to Fallout: New Vegas folks have needed, and I'll go even further - it's way better!

Sounds good, but I'll wait for the Steam sale (with all the DLC and bug fixes, etc).
Bethesda are doomed. Inextricably and inexorably doomed.
Sounds awesome! 馃槂
Now here's hoping Unicronic Arts doesn't get near Obsidian....
before everyone comments weren't against epic games pc store exclusivity well it's because outer worlds you can get it on xbox game pass for subscription and it is essentially free which highlights how having games on multiple game stores is best for consumers because they can choose which store to buy from or buy from both not sure why but you can do that it's your money do what you want
Say, now I think of it: can you still kill people by reverse-pickpocketing live grenades into their inventories?
One thing I'm hearing that I'm not cool with is that, quite unlike F:NV, you cannot mod this into a glorified fetish sex game. ...yet. ~_^ But yes, been hearing a lot of GOTY buzz around this one. Curiously, everybody seems to have just forgotten the whole Epic Games Store Exclusive kerfluffle. Or did they renounce that when I wasn't looking? Also, was Jim shotgunning Red XIIIs around 9:10?
It's also available on the Microsoft store, and with Game Pass you can essentially get it for as little as $1 if you're upgrading from XboxLive Gold
If you get the chance, play a toon with below average int. The dumb options are absolutely fantastic.
So since this is Fallout New Vegas II... does that mean Gav will be a guest in the podquisition? ;)
Well, I'm sold. I was erring on the side of caution before your review Jim.
