When I saw this in my podcast feed I was totally sure this is an anime podcast I listen to.
Great episode! Loved the new energy with Conrad. Considering the union talk: if you want a great example of how unions benefit everyone take a look at German industry unions. It's insane the kind of power workers can gain if unions are given proper legislation.
Regarding Untitled Goose Game, the devs have stated it takes place in an alternate timeline where Thatcher was chased out of office by a goose in the 70s, leading to a collapse of the Tory party (and thus the villagers are all Marxists). Which raises the question of why that's not in the game.
Yeah gotta agree with Joshua, 10 minutes in and I've died of laughter. Gallow's humor is going to be so important in the coming dystopian future, I'm glad I can already get my fill here.
