The PlayStation Classic is bad. Well... it's okay at what it does, it's just what it does is a bit pants.
The physical system looks nice, it functions just fine, but it suffers from a weak selection of games and an equally weak presentation.
Sony just wasn't really very bothered about making it good.

It's almost as if it were easier to enjoy these games using an emulator on literally any other device. What hurts me is how little care they showed with this for their own history, the games on display and most of all the customers. It's just sad, and a little bit infurating.
It is the same deal with piracy. Until the game industry can offer a better service than piracy or emulators can offer, people will still resort to them.
I bought my step-dad a little retro handheld from Citizen Goods with hundreds and hundreds of game. Cost me like $80. I can plug into the TV even. He loves the damn thing. Why is 20 games an even acceptable number of games anyone except the most die hard of fans?

Yikes. Sounds like a lot of missteps due to laziness. That sucks. :(
But I will get it for my older stepbrother.
