Six Times Bethesda Was Massively Incompetent (The Jimquisition)
Bethesda has created some of the most enduring power fantasies of our time, and there's a good reason why The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a game that refuses to die.
However, Bethesda isn't known for stable experiences, or welcome decisions, or not screwing up in massive ways.
With Fallout 76 coming out and being rubbish, let's look back at some of the notorious goofs from a company that goofs hard and often. By no means a comprehensive list, but a fun one!

Surprised you didn't bring up the bullshit they pulled with Elder Scrolls Online. Conning the fans into paying full price to beta-test an incomplete MMO that you fully intend to release free-to-play once the suckers have done your QA for you is the kind of thing that puts Angry Joe in the Cobra Commander mask.
I'll admit it... I'm still looking forward to the next TES game. But Fallout 76, I'll give a pass.
Oh man, it's like you made this video just for me. I've been explaining to people since they announced this game why I was fed up with bethesda's shit.
I did like the "Jim-Tech" titles between each section ;-) Also, these are most of the issues that cemented Bethesda's position on my Boycott List. They have a LOT to prove to ever have me as a customer again!
A fun video today. 😃 I loved those interludes (or whatever those old-timey title cards are called). Props to Justin for those. 👍
Was just about to message you, with this video and its take on Fallout 76... even before coming here, as I was watching it, I thought to myself "wonder if today's Jimquisition is going to be about this." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bEmsl5ClFk
