The State Of Sterling #4

Today we're talking about merchandise woes, circulating the tapes in the face of YouTube's behavior, Jimpressions changes, and using Patreon as an Ask replacement.

Maybe shove everything -- gaming, wrestling, etc. -- under an umbrella "Sterling Media" label, or something like that?

Sounds like a fair amount of change is happening. And it all sounds like it's change for the good. :) I can't wait to see more Sterdust. I like the current state of Jimpressions and I think that's really cool of you to make your Patreon Community page a Q&A section. I wanted to add that I've modelled a lot of my Patreon page after yours because I think you've created a great structure to aspire to.

For what it's worth, I've always gotten the emails from the youtubes and haven't bothered their precious feeds in years.

"I saw a video once, someone linked it to me" I'm disappointed, Jim. Be proud of your fetishes! Regarding the shirts, were there some with misprints that said "I'm fucking Jim Sterling, son!"? Because that'd be hilarious.

I think I'm just going to learn from you about how to do a Patreon page.

Looks like SharkRobot is selling all the Jimquisition shirts in their clearance section. I...guess that's okay?

Watch out on the merch selling. The supreme court destroyed protection from taxation in states you have no physical presence in (because they suck). It's not a problem yet, but keep up to date on state tax bullshit that we all know full well is coming.

I'm considering using a newsreader to read the rss all my subscriptions. Leave YouTube's algorithm (mostly) out of it
