Because It's Wrong: A Moral Look At Tech And Game Executives

They'll tell you "life's not fair" but they're actually lying to you. Life's neither fair nor unfair, it merely exists in unfair systems designed by unfair people. It's okay to say something isn't fair, and it's more than valid to tell game publishers and AI-humping investors that they have no moral compass. Having no moral compass, by the way, is a BAD thing, not a good thing.

Loved the video! Are Steph + Co. aware of what's happening with Mr. Puzzles? https://modmad.tumblr.com/post/812256923227488256/re-smg4-mr-puzzles (update: https://modmad.tumblr.com/post/815846189024116737/update-on-the-situation-as-has-ever-been-the)

Too often morality takes a backseat to profits.

Just watching the video, already loving it, great video. I also never understood the argument that companies exist to make money, bc to me 1. that still doesn't mean they need to be predatory or just evil the way they are, bc making money is possible without being morally and ethically shitty and 2. there are a lot of companies that actually only "make enough money" to sustain themselves and that is also a totally viable model in itself, if we're not discussing capitalism as the evil it inherently is. There are ways to live in a system like that, to even make money in a system like that, but still "keep your soul"... Sometimes I wish I could just overnight become a multi-billionaire just so I could fucking show the world that you could change something if you had the means. But then basically owning that amount of money is already morally and ethically problematic, so idk...

Oh my gosh you watch Caelan Conrad :) their AI work has been phenomenal, and reeks with the outrage and righteous indignation that seethes in my own heart.
