Resident Evil Requiem - Requiem For A Scream (Review)
I reviewed Resident Evil Requiem and I loved it. My favorite installment since Resident Evil 4, it's scary, ridiculous, and impeccably presented. Fantastic stuff.

It's an absolute joy to read you when you are allowed to gush with praise because a game earned it
Beat it last night too, like so many Re games, it left me wanting much more, but I still loved it to death. I've said for a while that while there are very, VERY few games I'm willing to spend $70 on, a new Resident Evil is one of them, and that faith was well rewarded. If this and Saros are the only games I pay full price for this year, it will be money well spent.
And, while, as steph says, the boss fights are a bit weak, fact is, when that late leon boss popped up, my immediate response was an audible "fuck yeah!" such was my nostalgic delight in the moment.
I LOVED this. The whole damn thing. Finished it last night, and I would have started up another run, but I had to get some sleep for work, lol. Looking forward to jumping right back into it. Also, if you haven't taken a look at any of the concept art, I highly recommend doing that. There are several pieces in there that are just AWESOME.
I wanted to like it more than I did, but I did still like it.
