High on Life 2 - Not Much Higher (Review)
I reviewed High on Life 2, which looks and feels like it got carved down to a sliver of what it was planned to be. Some nice ideas and a better script are held back by softlocks, unimproved gameplay, and the fact it's half a game. Love Travis and Jan, though!

I actually finished this on Monday. I enjoyed it a LOT more without Kenny yammering on all the time, and I loved Travis and Jan, as well as Sheath. I also ran into quite a few of the same issues you did where you had to restart the last checkpoint. In fact, I failed to escort Jeppy around the zoo because of this. We did the hide and seek thing and he just vanished. I checked all the hiding spots, following a guide, and he was nowhere. Restarted the checkpoint and suddenly I failed. It was bizarre. Overall, I enjoyed this one more than the first one.
