Sacred 2: Remaster - An Inexcusably Terrible Mess (Review)
I reviewed Sacred 2: Remaster. I fondly remember the original, but this is broken beyond absolute belief. An inexcusably defective product that does Sacred 2 dirty.

I don't understand what the point of these remasters is when they're going to release with so many bugs and problems. Did no one explore the project before they started working on it to assess the difficulty of making improvements? The devs even say it was a hard to make the game happen at all due to the legacy code and lack of original toolset. I looked at the studios involved with this remaster and it looks like they have mostly made mobile games. I really question THQ Nordic's decision here and hope this remaster is a flop so they might finally learn a lesson.
Also fell for this. Gold + community patch is much better
The only good thing about the gog version of this game is that it comes with the janky but infinitely superior original gold version of the game. Is that worth about $25 CND? Eh?
You know Steph is thoroughly disgusted with a game when they can't be bothered to come up with a pun for the review tagline.
