The Jimquisition: The Joykilling Culture Of 'AAA' Games

We Happy Few has slowly transformed since it first arrived on Early Access, but its latest metamorphosis was sudden and jarring - it's a "AAA" game now.

Gearbox acquiring the title, and the effect it's had on the game, demonstrate that "AAA" is not so much about the funds or the studio, but about the culture.

Now take your Joy, and appreciate that I'm Undertale canon.

I hope you saw that a rep from Compulsion games visited the subreddit. All was civil but It'd be cool to see you engage them directly too. They seem like rational folks if.. a little delusional about "how folks outside the gaming industry just dont get it"

Love the gloves and overall look. I hope you keep the red gloves. Great episode, and hope the middle tier games come back in style. I will always love the weird games that were not full price.

Jim, the Konami stuff in Indianapolis is a pair of Yugioh tournaments. They own the CCG.

I had no doubt it was for *something*. It's just Konami's incompetence in listing it.

It seems Compulsion Games has learned nothing from the travesty that was Mighty No9. And to take on Gearbox as a publisher? FFS SMH.
