The chicken quest in Gongaga wasn't too bad for me. I was dreading the last one until they had a levikron pop out to fight and then the chicken went home by itself. And that ending bit. Oh wow, that was straight outta Yakuza.
Would love to see more of your "not quite good enough for the article" screenshots! Especially when they showcase just how dead-eyed characters look outside of scripted scenes!

Great idea! I'm not into FF so this didn't have much for me aside from the Batman and Robin blast from my childhood and the Proud Clodomy bit. (Nothing like a bit of juvenile butt humour to lighten the mood!)

Honestly, I think game photography is an underappreciated art, and often can capture the joy of games better than a lot of other forms of coverage. I'd love to see more!
Game photography has been a thing a lovely little subset of gamers have engaged in for decades (the first actual organized group I remember seeing was for MORROWIND, and those folks practically melted their PCs with all the visual mods needed!), and it really does deserve more love. Looking up any game title plus "photographer of" or "photography in" will usually get you to the entrance to the rabbit hole~!
