I’m currently optimizing several old NPCs, which includes replacing them with new portraits, updated settings, and fresh CGs. First up is Lingyan, the Black Fox. Her character concept has been revamped from the original "lustful powerhouse" to a "widowed wife" archetype.
In the current lore, she is one of the Nine Tail Princesses of the Fox Tribe, specifically the Princess of the Yan-Tail (Tail of Proliferation). The Fox Tribe’s hierarchy is centered around the Nine Tail Princesses:
Yushen (Chieftain), Dou (Combat), Bu (Divination), Yan (Proliferation), Shi (Gluttony), Yi (Healing), Dao (Path), Zui (Sin), and Shang (Wound).
Beyond the Tail Princesses, there are also the positions of Zhaixian (Purified Immortal) and Jiwu (Sacrificial Priestess). The third heroine—and Lingyan's elder sister—is the thousand-year-old White Fox, Lingwu, who holds the title of Zhaixian.
Her daily duties involve recommending and arranging suitable partners for her tribespeople, as well as providing education and guidance on breeding and reproduction. She is also responsible for regulating and optimizing the reproductive affairs of the Fox Tribe.
Beyond that, she cares for pregnant members of the Fox Tribe and the Blood Dragon Tribe. In fact, if pregnant women from other tribes come to her, she looks after them all the same. Another major part of her role is looking after the children—a taxing task, as many Fox women tend to leave their young after birth. Many tribespeople are simply too busy, often immediately preparing for their next pregnancy, leaving them no time to care for their offspring... which is considered perfectly "reasonable" within their culture.

我準備將一部分舊版的 NPC 優化，更換新立繪、新設定以及部分 CG。首先是黑狐凌煙，設定從最初的「淫亂女強者」改為**「未亡人人妻」。現在的她是狐族九尾姬中的「衍之尾姬」
狐族的設定主要分為九大尾姬：御神尾（族長）、斗之尾、卜之尾、衍之尾、食之尾、醫之尾、道之尾、罪之尾、傷之尾。而在尾姬之外，還有「齋仙」和「祭巫」之位。齋仙是本作的第三位女主，也是凌煙的姐姐——千年的白狐凌霧。
她平日的工作就是給族人推薦和安排伴侶，並傳授繁育相關的知識與教學，以及如何調控優化狐族的繁育事項。除此之外，她還負責照看那些懷孕的狐族族人，以及血蛟族懷孕的孕婦們；其實其他族的孕婦來到這裡，她也一樣會照料。
其次，照看孩子們也是她的重任，這是一件相當麻煩的事。畢竟狐族很多女子都是生完就不管了，很少有願意帶孩子的。當然，很多族人事務繁忙，有的要立刻準備下一次備孕，無暇顧及子嗣……這在族內也被視為合情合理。
