Rejected Voice Audition

Even though my current priority is finishing Amai's week by adding voice acting and animations to it, I still occasionally request some of the assets that I'll need for Kizana's week.

Recently, a voice actor contacted me and asked if there were any open roles. I sent him a list of male characters who currently lack voices - including some male characters who will have speaking lines during Kizans' upcoming "Befriend/Betray" stealth mission. One of these characters is a "henchman" type character.

The voice actor gave an absolutely phenomenal performance; he did a perfect "classic henchman" voice that is straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon! However, I was imagining a more down-to-earth, grounded, realistic voice for this character. So, this particular audition was rejected. I gave the voice actor some feedback on what I wanted the character to sound like, and after a couple more auditions, he nailed it! He has been officially cast for the role.

However, I just couldn't bear to let his original audition go to waste. It was so funny! He did such a good job! So, I've decided to share it here. This is not the voice you'll actually be hearing when you encounter this character during Kizana's Befriend/Betray sidequest - but it's just too good to throw into the wastebin without letting you hear it first. Enjoy!
