Today's patch update 📥
Hey everybody,
Just letting you know that it's better to hold off on updating your game for now because it seems like today's patch has made cc and mods unrecognizable by the game and I am assuming my cc might be included in that as well!
Right now we have no idea what went wrong but I just wanted to pop in and warn you about updating, please do it at your own risk.
Hopefully it will be resolved ASAP so you can go back to simming and enjoying the game.
As far as the new Marketplace is concerned, just wanted to let you know that I was also invited by EA but I have refused to join. Every single day I am beyond grateful for your ongoing support and I do not want my cc to ever be permanently paywalled, nor do I want to ask for more financial support from you and stretch myself out too thin and not be able to create stuff that you love because of burnout. I have also explained some more reasons behind my decision in this Tumblr post that you can read if you're interested!

hey love! i am currently slowly putting all my cc back on and so far it seems like your cc & fairybarn’s is what’s failing to load some games. i am unsure why but yeah 😵💫
Thanks for letting me know, I'll wait a few more days until more people update the game so I can see if a lot of people are having the same issue! It still might be early to tell because a lot of mods are broken in general + the issue was not on my side, it was EA's fault. 😅

Thank you for being so transparent! [and for the heads up] I was one of the unlucky ones where my game updated automatically. Now I'm scared to open the game so I'll wait a few days until they fix this mess. :(

figured out this morning, tried to turn off auto updates on steam.. and was too late :/ but im downloading your cc for when i can use them again!!
I was told by another creator that it is due to a bug within the game and the Sims team is working on a solution to it now! But they have not shared any other official info 😭
Thank you for the info, I was one of the unlucky once I updated the game and now some of my cc works but not modes and some cc.
