What's better than owning a small business that lets you listen to your favorite records all day, read comics and hang out with your friends? Now you can do just that! Kick back and relax while the records practically sell themselves. 🎧
The records can be placed on the Stairway To Heaven retail shelf and your sims can buy them from there. Once the record is bought, it can be found in your sim's Household Inventory. From there you can either give it to someone as a gift or place it somewhere in your home to cherish it forever. 🎵
Edit: Removed the David Bowie swatch because I was not aware of the allegations surrounding him and I do not support anything of the sort.
I hope that you like what I managed to come up with for this set! Please enjoy and have lots of fun, happy opening day! And thank you so much for the support! 💓

Hi I love this set! I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t see the stairway to heaven record shelf. Is it in this set still?

I can't make this work on my game, need it to be a zip file
s
snowyellie · March 7, 2026
rar and zip are both compressed file formats - as long as you can extract the .package files, there shouldn't be a difference. as far as I know, the basic windows extract tool, winrar and 7zip all support .rar formats ! :) i'm not too sure about macOS if that's the case for you however !

hey I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get this in my game. I'm a tad bit ignorant and new to cc

sumi · January 2, 2026
hi! im not sure if youre still struggling but go to your documents folder, find electronic arts, and theres a folder called 'Mods' that's where u put the cc!

I appreciate your strong social conscience. It's unfortunate but we can't divorce an artist's work with the artist themselves. Refusing to support or condone such artists is not always popular but it is necessary for the ongoing good of the people they would otherwise influence. Thank you for that. Also: LOVE THIS SET!!!

which files do i download? theres 3

tyler · November 5, 2025
if you are a creator who wants to recolor a record sleeve, download the last one ending with .psd, you can download the .zip file if there are specific items in the set you want to remove, and the merged .package file contains everything in the set in a single file, hope this could help you!

i love this set, it's so good, as always !! But i have a problem with the shelf "Stairways to heaven", it's in my folder, and the name also appears on the search bar of the game, but i can't find it anywhere in the build and buy. It's only a problem with this one so idon't know if i'm the only one ? ^^'

Thank you so much! 💓 Maybe it has to do with the Businesses & Hobbies EP, if you don't have it it's not going to show up? That's the first thing that comes to mind, but I will check it out in my game to make sure! 😅

hi awad!! this is beautiful! i'm not sure if you gave prior permission, but this set is on simsdom. i thought i'd give you the heads up, because i know many creators don't want their stuff posted there. :)

Hii thank you so much for letting me know but I’m honestly not sure what can be done about that, I saw that they have stuff from all the creators so… 😭🤔

a

Hey thank you so much, do you have the Business & Hobbies expansion? Unfortunately the record shelves can't be functional without it! 💓

Hey just wondering what you used to make the album art?? Cause some of that looks like gen-ai
a
atticwindowatdawn · May 27, 2025
Hi, none of the album art is AI generated, half is from real life artists with a cartoonizing effect + Topaz Clean from Photoshop and the other half was purchased on Unsplash+. Here on my Tumblr I have a post explaining how I created them with all the links for all the albums and illustrations i used! https://atticwindowatdawn.tumblr.com/post/784724796965617664/hey-guys-since-ive-gotten-some-questions-about EDIT TO ADD: sorry if you can't click this link, I can't add it in a comment, I have also updated this post and linked this above at the top!

David Bowie raped children. We should go down the list of your other swatches
a
atticwindowatdawn · May 22, 2025
Is this supposed to be a threat or something? By all means go through all the swatches since this is the first time I am ever hearing of this. I would like the source for this information. And I would like to ask you to be more respectful in your manner of speaking to me on my platform, just because I am a cc creator does not give you the right to be disrespectful to me for no reason whatsoever.

Hello, love this build! I downloaded it, but I'm having trouble finding it in my library. What should I search for?
a
atticwindowatdawn · May 22, 2025
Thank you so much!🥰 You can search for it by typing 'atticwindow' 'atticwindowatdawn' or 'dogwood records' 😊

Is anyone having issues with the ''Enduring Record Shelving (Business & Hobbies Version)"? When my business is open the shelving still shows as if the business is closed. I deleted and replaced it with a new one but as soon as I open up shop it doesn't act as intended and still shows as closed.
a
atticwindowatdawn · May 20, 2025
Hey, I think that in order for the shelves to work as intended you need to place them after you mark a certain area as your small business, for some reason the game doesn't recognize them when placed on a residential lot that is only later turned into a small business. Let me know if this works out! ☺️

If you don,t object, Iwould like to hashtag your cc in my builds for the gallery. My ID is CHRISTINEMAIN , so you can see your cc in them. I make nice build of all sorts,(if I say so myself) but really love to make realism builds and your cc fits that perfectly!
a

Of course, no problem, can’t wait to see it, thank you!🥰
