[ BONUS PATREON Audio Podcast ] [ Just Chatting ] [ Lunch 'N Self Love? ] [ Eating Sounds ] [ Food and Yap Session ]

Just rambling about some identity stuff (some personal experiences) and gender-non-conformity, transness, whatever blah blah, the complexity of being a human being. I'll link the video I was talking about here:

Leave as little or as much as you'd like in the comments sharing your own experiences and thoughts on whatever. You are valid to be who you are, and you are allowed to be complex and inconsistent and fluid and flowing. You are alive and you are experiencing life every moment. You are always changing, and allowed to change. I encourage you to make room for self-exploration, and for self-love. Whoever you have been, may be, and will become, I hope you can love yourself in all of your forms.

I definitely agree it’s why I try to use as little labels as possible when describing myself because when people see a label especially when it’s concerning politics, religion, or gender identity they immediately jump to having either a positive or negative reaction to it and I’d rather people form their own views of me without any bias. What I said about labels also applies to groups and fandoms which also causes people to jump to conclusions based on their own views or what they heard others said about those groups and fandoms thus painting all members of it with the same brush. the bigger the group the worse it gets because when there’s a lot of people banded together there’s a higher chance for some of those people to be bad people and those people because the poster children of the groups they’re apart of because they’re often the loudest and people who are infamous get more attention then those who are famous especially online. It’s why so many people view the LGBT community as a whole as a bunch of sexual predators or worse, and when the good people in the community try to explain themselves or disown those who’ve done bad they’re ignored because the masses have already painted them all with the same brush and refuse to engage with them. Then those same people go around saying stuff like “the Trans are coming after our kids!” Which causes further damage LGBT people as whole because the majority of people buy into that fear mongering.

I agree over simplification of a person's identity and expression for the sake of societal norms holds all of us back. 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵🏳️‍⚧️🫂

I'm glad that you made this showing your stance on all of this. Personally, I don't think the femboy label is inherently bad, although I never got too deep into the community, but I know that it went much deeper than what I got to, especially on tiktok and other places (none of which I care for, so don't bother with, which probably helped in me not getting too deep into the "dark side of femboys") I started off as cishet male, then went to cis pan male, then internally questioning pan male?, then FEMBOY pan male, finally ending up with somewhere around transfem tomboy/biker chick. I got to where I am now, not by waking up and thinking, "huh, I'm a girl", but by trying different labels and seeing what worked, then adding or taking them off. I will still probably be changing them until I die, but that's how life goes and I wouldn't want to still be cishet male, since I've learned so much about myself and others by being open to new labels. My point is, I don't think that any label is inherently bad, it depends on who is saying it, what it means to them, what the label means to others around them and also where the conversation is happening. The internet isn't the right place to have certain labels, even if they are "SFW", since as you said, they can attract the wrong people. Here at least, the whole f-boy (that looks bad without context) thing is your choice and I'm glad that you can make that call and be willing to speak about it. Also, I never knew you were trans, and am very jealous of your vocal range, even moreso now than before My full list of labels I currently use would be something around transfem tomboy/biker/rocker/metalhead/musician/pansexual/nerd/introvert/gamer/engineer/pilot, but that's a whole lot of labels that describe me with some seeming to contradict each other (tranfem tomboy), so I typically would shorten it down to what I feel is most important in the moment, with the other labels being part of me. A label, to me, is simply an identifier, since explaining the nuances of my personality without them would take a long time, so I like them for that, also they give a sense of "this is me, I like this". At the end of the day, everyone will identify differently and have different opinions about different things, but we are all going through changes throughout life and shouldn't be restricted to a single label (male or female). Sorry about long message, hope someone who needs it reads it and it helps them. Stay safe, make the best decision for yourself first, then those you care about.

thank you for sharing this!! it's really important for people to welcome the nuance around the complicated topic of identity. it's different for everyone, and terms themselves can be complex with their given history in real life and on the internet. people are always changing, some more than others, but I don't think we should fear or demonize that change.

can you describe the feeling of not being comfortable in your own body .(sorry this sounds so rough and you don't have to do it am just curious because am happy for the most part with my body and I am curious about how a person with feelings such as your self sees the world and such )((again am sorry for the long message and for such a hard question )

ooh yes I definitely can! for me it's on and off, and it's ultimately different for everyone. sometimes it's just "that part doesn't look right" or "I wish this was flatter or bigger" and things like that. for me, it's more of a gender-related dysphoria-- wishing hips weren't so wide, or chest wasn't this or that. In simple and light-hearted terms, I wish for dorito build and was given feminine twink build by default.

Hi. I'm your listener from Russia. We don't raise the issue of identity here, so I can't really talk about it (because I don't want to make mistaken statements). But I think, that you are making fair remarks. Sorry for my English 😅 (P.s. love your audios <3)

I'm not entirely sure what I feel or how I feel through all my time in my life I've been a masculine but I've always felt some way about my feminine side because it gives me some confidence im still very unaware about what I really classify myself as I'm still kinda figuring myself out but I really can't freely explore that Because one side of my family is very anti lgbtq so I feel as I can't ever really express myself unless I eventually get out on my own sorry for the small little rant/explanation >~<

Thank you for sharing, Sil - I understand the fear that comes with a side of family that doesn't understand parts of who you are. I really hope you manage to find peace and acceptance in the future and surround yourself with those that love you and support you for who you are and who you continue to become.

As one of them genderfluid folks, i find this kind of discussion just the most interesting (and often times important) things

I'm glad there are more and more spaces to hold the conversation about it. Especially because I have a lot of LGBTQ+ community members, I want to build a safe space in my own community as well :)

Mate. Your analytical nature in how carefully you wish to navigate these topics shows how deeply you care for your community. Don't worry, you're doing great!
