Blender DLSS Experimental Build β Free Download (RTX Only)
Hey everyone π
After a long compile-and-debug marathon, I finally managed to build a custom Windows version of Blender with NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction enabled in Cycles β and Iβm sharing it for free with you all here on Patreon.
This is an experimental community build, not an official Blender release, but everything is working properly:
β
Cycles GPU rendering
β
CUDA
β
DLSS Denoiser
β
DLSS Quality / Balanced / Performance / DLAA modes
β
RTX 20 / 30 / 40 series supported
π¦ Download
File name:
Blender-DLSS-Experimental-Windows-x64.zip
Extract the ZIP anywhere and run:
blender.exe
(No installation required.)
β οΈ Important Notes
Please read carefully:
β’ This is NOT an official Blender or NVIDIA build
β’ Built from Blender source + NVIDIA DLSS SDK
β’ For testing, learning, and experimentation
β’ RTX GPU required
β’ Windows only
β’ Viewport DLSS is limited β best results are in final Cycles renders
β’ If you run into crashes or odd behavior, switch back to official Blender for production work
π NVIDIA SDK Notice
This build includes components from NVIDIA RTX SDKs (DLSS), used under NVIDIAβs license terms.
If you redistribute this build, you must:
β’ Include this notice
β’ Follow NVIDIA RTX SDK licensing rules
β’ Do not claim NVIDIA endorsement
π§ Why Iβm Sharing This
I built this mainly for research, testing, and curiosity β and figured the community might enjoy experimenting with DLSS inside Blender too.
If you make something cool with it, tag me β Iβd love to see what you render πβ¨

Hi there! I get a crash when trying to run the exe. I'm using an RTX 4090, so it's not the GPU. Any ideas?
Use the portable one If it's not working it could be the gpu driver
