Introducing MoodBoard by Mix 3D Design — Alpha Build
I’ve been working on a new tool and I’m ready to finally share it with you.
It’s called MoodBoard by Mix 3D Design — a desktop app made for artists and creators who want a clean way to collect ideas, organize references, and shape projects visually.
This is an early alpha version, and Patreon supporters are the first to get access.
What is MoodBoard? 🧠
MoodBoard is a visual workspace where you create boards for projects and connect ideas instead of keeping everything in folders.
You can:
collect reference images
organize concepts
link ideas together
explore directions for a scene or design
prepare boards for production
think visually before committing to a final result
It works well for game environments, anime-style scenes, concept art, world-building, and creative planning.
Why I built this ✍️
While working on anime-style projects, I often wanted a better way to handle references and early ideas.
I wanted one place where:
ideas live next to each other
projects are separated
experiments feel easy
and AI can help explore directions
So I built MoodBoard around that workflow.
It’s something I already use when planning my own work.
What’s coming next 🚀
This alpha version is only the start.
In the future I plan to add:
shared boards for teams
cloud sync
collaboration features
stronger AI tools
style exploration
presentation mode
exporting boards for clients
templates for different project types
Your feedback will decide what gets built first.
Alpha notice ⚠️
This is still early software.
There may be bugs and missing features, and things will change as the app grows.
That’s why I’m sharing it with you first — to test it, improve it, and shape it together.
