Hi everyone, just a brief update to tell you that release #8 is soon to be completed, one scene to finish on my side and some dialogues that we got behind. I will update the progress bar.
Chapter 1 Steam release is closer than ever.
Chapter 2 is getting closer to it being fully completed as well, but not in this release. Are we going to do a chapter 3 right after it? That is not set in stone at this time. In all honesty we will have to see what the Steam release brings in terms of increasing support to decide what we do next.
Timestamps has been under development for several years and it's a passion project which wouldn't have been possible without your support, and even if we decide to make a totally new game after completion of chapter 2, we may always revisit the timestamps world in the future because there is so many possibilities to explore.
We will have a poll soon to check on your thoughts as well, regarding potential separate standalone Timestamps short stories in addition to making a completely new game.

The game has been great so far and I know it’s not for everyone in terms of relationships in it, but for me it was Julie, Nika and Gaz that drew me to the game and that it caters to smoking women. That last part especially was my like. So long may that continue (hopefully more of it!) into what ever games are in the future
You could try making a female protagonist game, a lot of people like them and they are pretty rare compared with male protagonist ones
That wont happen, I prefer male protagonist in these type of game. But thanks for the tip ;)
So what is approximate date of the final update regarding Chapter 2?
We will start the testing this week if everything is done in time from everyone.
If it's more support you're seeking, there's probably no way around doing a different game for a while, as sad as it would be. TS is *not* for everybody with the forced Julie relationship, the smoking, the rough start with the old VNgine and on top of it all the $20 paywall to even get a glimpse of what it even is. You're doing great work, so if you decide to do something different for a while, I'm curious to see what it will be :)
You may be right that TS is not for everybody ;) As you know, Juliana is the main character, I cannot imagine the story without her. The game never aim to be a dating simulation where you can choose all the time with who you want to be even if we present these option a lot of time, in the end we have a story to present. I think we are pretty good now with the engine and the arts also improved over time when I check early chapter 1 haha. Thanks for the feedback
One option could be starting the new game after Chapter 2. Doing couple of updates to that. Then returning to Chapter 3 of TS. Doing updates back and forth with the new game and Chapter 3 how you please. Some other developers are doing this kind of thing too.
It's also a possibility. Let's see the reaction on the steam release. I want to be honnest with you and make sure all understand the situation we are in and where we are going. Nothing set in stone yet.
loving the game hoping part 2 is not the end of time stamps.
Aww, so many possible sex scenes missed but the worst part is the story probably ends on a cliffhanger while yet another AVN turns into abandonware. I really need to find another hobby or only play AVN's that are finished. When TV switched from analog to digital in 2010 that was annoying, but when Heroes was canceled after a cliffhanger I literally threw the analogTV/converter box in the garbage and never bothered buying a digital one since (I just played games only from 2010-2018 and AVN's only from 2018-present).
Nobody said it will be abandoned? If we decide to not go the chapter 3 route that was planned, we will make chapter 2 current MC story wrap with a nice ending (Chapter 3 Original idea was with a different MC ). I'm working on Timestamps for more than 5 years now, because of you that support the game we have been able to work on it, but it's not enough compare to some other dev to fulfill all what I aim and want to achieve when I launch the game in 2017.

Possibly just a couple of episodes left for Timestamps is not good news :(. We only got one threesome with Juli and Heather as MILFs. Not to mention so many other girls/combos we didn't get too much action with.
