Release frequency
Hi everyone,
I have an important question tonight,
Would you prefer having quicker release with less content, less chance of punchy ending, something like a 1-3 scenes as we complete them. (Around 2 months delay)
OR
Having to wait longer in between release for a full content and story as we do now. Around 3+ months delay)
I'm trying to figure out why we are barely able to go over our 700-800 AMAZING supporters every months for quit some time now. We have many poeple that support only on release month and thats fine.
Give me some hints guys, i wont hide that we want to do better than 700-800 for producing a game like that.
Thanks and take care

tem que ter gravidez obrigado.
3 months to release well, with full content and story, its ok. must be monthly release, but ok! The problem is 3,5 months delay 4... months delay since the last release. please stay in the just 3 months timing!
I really appreciate the hard work you guys do this game is awesome!
Thanks Patrick!
My only complaint about the game system is the click and drag save/ loading in system it's a real pain in the ass to scroll through all my save files to load in the scene I want to replay other than that I love your game keep up the good work!
Aesouh is working on improving this part of the game... he can answer you where he is with that. It sure can be updated.
As I see it your regular updates are perfect. You release a lot of polished content all in one go and that's for the best. However, you do need to generate more hype. 1. Your previews need to be better and show just a bit more. 2. Your previews need to be released on a consistent schedule. 3. You need to encourage more community discussion. Look at BaD for example. DPC has the most active forum/Discord page of almost any creator. I would say ICSTOR but you don't want to emulate his community model (toxic and mad). How do you create that? Hype and quality releases. Never release something subpar because you can do so quickly. I would suggest you nominate someone as a community manager to spark conversation on both the pirate forum (any talk is good talk, again though it's not the goal look at ICSTOR) and the Discord. This person needs only ask questions and pose theories to get it going. Would also not hurt to cross-promote more officially with other Devs. Food for thought!
I'll reply to you on discord.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
I know some people that are hesitant because of the 20€ you'd have to pay to even start playing this series. Maybe that's a little too much for now idk. Maybe give the first 4 chapters of UL to lower tiers or something so they can get hooked :) (Also maybe a little cleanup of the beginning of UL, it's not the easiest to get into imho) Oh also: The VNgine feels very clunky in UL, it's SO much better in LL, maybe consider backporting? Sorry it's a little stream of conscious here haha
I have also thought about that price. Maybe put UL on sale for 10 bucks or something for a few months and see if that have any effect. I just check how much some of the well known adult games are on Steam and they are around 12.
I think you should do what you like best. If you think there is an issue with your current way of releasing content perhaps you should give the 2 months release cycle a try for a while and see what results you get. I would like quicker updates, but I'm also more interested in getting the content I like in each update. So if you can guarantee some MILF or girl on girl stuff in each episode I would be all for it :D. An update that has focus on the younger girls would be meh for me :D. Quicker updates may mean more people sticking around. You guys have access to statistics about your subs I presume so you can see if there are people that pledge only for a release and then disappear for 3+ months. Perhaps having quicker releases would keep these people around? Bottom line do what you think is best. Maybe give a try at 2-3 smaller updates?
Thanks for the feedback, i can sure guarantee you some MILF ;)
In a perfect world updates would be monthly, even if it's just 1h of content, then it's easier to keep patrons subbed (to retain the ones that sub to get the update and then unsub until the next update). Other than that, I imagine the 10k+ creators also advertise elsewhere on the internet and make at least a Steam demo.
Advertising is sure something we lack. I was in a monthly schedule until release 4.3 in chapter 1, unable to do that while keeping my sanity! There was way less content at this time than what we deliver now and the game is more complex. In a perfect world 1 would need 36 hours in a day ;)
It's difficult to settle on one choice because the game is stellar! Keep going as you are because whenever your release comes around I clear my schedule! If you have long but consistent releases then you will have your following. Although more updates or monthly Image packs would be nice.
Thanks for feedback! Doing monthly image pack without spoiling the update is tough. Doing single images is taking time to setup a scene that i cannot put in the game development and honnestly i hate doing single images, like really! It take lot of creativity juice from me trying to do original work, i prefer to put that in the game. What can be done is doing extra images from already build ingame scene, that can be something interesting if you guys want to see it. I'm also updating with a custom from the Ambassador level, every month.
We have almost come to the completion of the second chapter. Iits obvious to complete the chapter in ordinary course as it currenly is, then commence on new project (or new chapter of TS) with a monthly release).
We are still developing something else in the background but the priority is Timestamps at the moment until chapter 2 is done, then we will evaluate what's next. Thanks for feedback
Like longer quicker good game better
I prefer to wait for a longer/better episode, but I wouldn't begrudge you trying to push quicker releases if you thought it would help you to get more patrons. You work hard and you're entitled to get paid for it.
