Development news December 2025

Hi everyone,

November was a great month, we finally release Timestamps chapter 2 on Steam and it is a successful release.

It was lot of work to deliver this out correctly but there is still more to do on it since there is MANY corrections and bugs still present that I reported in my testing, that are still waiting to be corrected... but this is out of my control to be updated.

On the other hand, Alternate Worlds continue his development and I decide to revisit some AI content that was introduced in release 3. I've listen to you guys and I know some results were not up to my standard in term of quality. I'm now using a new workflow that help me deliver way better result on this field.

I'm always using Ai with my own art as a base image to export an animation.

AI is not something easy to deliver as many think it is, there is lot of trial and error during this process, even if there is way less in this new workflow I'm using now. With the help of LeonceTheLion, that guide and help me in my process, providing me solution to many of my problems, I've been able to achieve amazing improvements. Is there still progress to be made on this field, of course, AI improve so quickly so I need to follow these progress and stay up to date. It gives me the opportunity to do things I cannot do manually.

I remember, (and some of you will too) when I decide to add animation in my game in early development days. I was stuck in development because of an engine updates that I was using at that time, my release was ready but code were not, so I decide to start doing animations and add it to my game. The game was only using still images in 2017 like many other VN, so adding animation was a big plus. Today, things have changed again and AI may be the tool to use to achieve better results.
